SINGAPORE - The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) will release detailed data on Singapore's gross domestic product (GDP) for the second quarter next Tuesday (Aug 11) at 8am.

The Economic Survey of Singapore for the quarter will include information and data on the overall GDP performance of the economy, sectoral performance, sources of growth, inflation, employment and productivity, the ministry said in a statement.

The advance reading of Singapore's second-quarter GDP, released on July 14, showed the economy grew by a much slower-than-expected 1.7 per cent compared with a year earlier. It also slowed sharply from the 2.8 per cent year-on-year growth in the first three months of this year.
