Price hikes push rate to 3.3% in April

Core inflation in Singapore rose to a peak last month, fuelled by higher electricity and gas prices, as well as food and retail.
The core inflation rate rose to 3.3 per cent year on year last month, up from 2.9 per cent in March.
This is forecast to pick up further in the coming months before moderating towards the end of the year.
