Efforts by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) to further enhance the screening measures for marine fuels sold to ships here have received strong support from the international maritime community.
It has also been commended for its swift response in handling a recent case of bunker contamination that occurred in the city state and affected 200 ships, of which 80 reported various issues with their fuel pumps and engines.
