Creditor seeks to put Oriental Group under judicial management

SINGAPORE - Catalist-listed Oriental Group said on Tuesday that it had been served with an originating summons in relation to an application by a creditor to the High Court of Singapore to place the company under judicial management.
The pre-trial conference for the judicial management application has been fixed on Thursday at 4pm.
Separately, the steel manufacturer and trader said it was also on Tuesday served another originating summons and a summons for injunction taken out by the solicitors of Aseanzon and Dingji Investments, relating to the results of the Dec 9 extraordinary general meeting.
Oriental Group said it is seeking legal advice relating to the above matters.
