Thai media group's security token offering set to deepen alternative capital market in S'pore

SINGAPORE - Businesses have started tapping security token offerings (STOs), underscoring a growing trend of seeking alternative access to capital in the digital sphere.

Thailand-based media group T&B Media Global and affiliate company Tree Roots Entertainment Group said on Nov 11 that they will raise at least US$100 million (S$136 million) in Singapore to finance the production of five animated movies, one animated series and a live streaming platform in Thailand.
