SINGAPORE - Singapore stocks finished higher on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 14.17 points, or 0.43 per cent, to close at 3,315.13.
Market breadth was negative, with 198 gainers to 226 decliners.
The Straits Times Index came off from its intraday peak of 3,330.59 and low of 3,311.12.
Volume amounted to 1266.1 million shares worth S$1.005 billion changing hands.
Singapore Telecommunications, Global Logistic Properties, City Developments and DBS Group Holdings were among the most active stocks in the market.
