SINGAPORE - Singapore-listed Sembcorp Marine's Brazilian unit Estaleiro Jurong Aracruz has won extra work worth about US$145 million from a consortium with Petrobras as the majority partner.

The so-called "hull carryover works" is for Tupi BV, and is on top of a project that Tupi had awarded Estaleiro Jurong Aracruz in July 2012 for a floating production storage and offloading vessel.

"Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Sembcorp Marine expects a positive contribution to its earnings from the contract," the firm said in a statement to the Singapore Exchange.
