SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Wednesday (Aug 12), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,085.56 in early trade, down 2.14 per cent, or 67.5 points.
Around 65.2 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 98 to 38.
