Singapore shares open 1.07% higher on Monday

SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Monday (Feb 15), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,567.1 in early trade, up 1.07 per cent, or 27.15 points.

Around 73.5 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 107 to 39.
