SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Tuesday (Aug 25), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,814.48 in early trade, down 1.01 per cent, or 28.91 points.
Around 91.1 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 190 to 32.
