SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Monday (Jan 25), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,604.59 in early trade, up 1.01 per cent, or 27.5 points.
Around 55.5 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 104 to 26.
