Singapore shares open 0.92% higher on Wednesday

SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Wednesday (Sept 16), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,868.00 in early trade, up 0.92 per cent, or 26.06 points.

Around 50.1 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 113 to 38.
