SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,705.18 in early trade, down 0.90 per cent, or 24.67 points.
Around 29.7 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 76 to 28.
