SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Monday (Dec 21), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,828.14 in early trade, down 0.87 per cent, or 24.7 points.
Around 29 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 89 to 22.
