SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Thursday (Sept 17), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,893.36 in early trade, up 0.86 per cent, or 24.62 points.
Around 204 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 139 to 68.
