SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,785.56 in early trade, up 0.80 per cent, or 22.14 points.
Around 42.1 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 111 to 27.
