SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,316.71 in early trade, down 0.78 per cent, or 26.02 points.
Around 76.9 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 118 to 38.
