SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Thursday (Aug 20), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,018.00 in early trade, down 0.76 per cent, or 23.25 points.
Around 67.6 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 97 to 31.
