SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Friday (July 28), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,333.88 in early trade, down 0.62 per cent, or 20.83 points.
Around 171.1 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 113 to 86.
