SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Tuesday (Jan 26), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,567.77 in early trade, down 0.58 per cent, or 14.87 points.
Around 36.3 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 33 to 85.
