SINGAPORE - Singapore shares open 0.55% higher on Tuesday (Aug 30), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,845.01 in early trade, up 0.55 per cent, or 15.58 points.
Around 41 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 92 to 48.
