SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened 0.52% higher on Thursday (Oct 6), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,896.64 in early trade, up 0.52 per cent, or 14.85 points.
Around 101.3 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 99 to 44.
