SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Wednesday (July 20), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,934.34 in early trade, up 0.51 per cent, or 14.8 points.
Around 72 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 67 to 43.
