SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Thursday (March 24), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,867.45 in early trade, down 0.50 per cent, or 14.53 points.
Around 110 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 80 to 58.
