SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,855.11 in early trade, down 0.47 per cent, or 13.36 points.
Around 72.8 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 82 to 65.
