SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Wednesday (March 23), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,894.23 in early trade, up 0.47 per cent, or 13.58 points.
Around 56.2 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 83 to 38.
