SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Friday (Jan 15), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,657.11 in early trade, up 0.47 per cent, or 12.54 points.
Around 62 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 97 to 19.
