SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened 0.43% lower on Thursday (Sept 29), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,870.36 in early trade, down 0.43% per cent, or 12.35 points.
Around 138.4 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 97 to 41.
