SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,773.54 in early trade, down 0.42 per cent, or 11.89 points.
Around 103.7 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 39 to 72.
