SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Wednesday (Oct 21), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,031.59 in early trade, up 0.42 per cent, or 12.56 points.
Around 90 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 87 to 50.
