SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,806.94 in early trade, up 0.42 per cent, or 11.85 points.
Around 30.5 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 83 to 28.
