SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,314.29 in early trade, up 0.42 per cent, or 13.87 points.
Around 71.2 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 101 to 39.
