SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Friday (April 1), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,829.87 in early trade, down 0.39 per cent, or 11.03 points.
Around 128 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 63 to 57.
