SINGAPORE - Singapore shares open 0.38% lower on Monday (Aug 29), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,846.7 in early trade, down 0.38 per cent, or 10.95 points.
Around 36.3 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 73 to 49.
