Brexit jitters continued to hit Singapore shares, forcing investors to sit it out until the outcome of tomorrow's referendum is known.

SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,852.45 in early trade, down 0.34 per cent, or 9.72 points.
Around 178.8 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 67 to 96.
