SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Friday (Sept 16), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,814.86 in early trade, up 0.33 per cent, or 9.34 points.
Around 37.5 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 83 to 34.
