SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Tuesday (Sept 12), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,238.49 in early trade, up 0.31 per cent, or 9.98 points.
About 30.7 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 98-33.
