SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Friday (July 7), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,217.26 in early trade, down 0.28 per cent, or 9.08 points.
Around 44.5 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 92 to 29.
