SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Wednesday (June 8), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,856.02 in early trade, up 0.28 per cent, or 7.93 points.
Around 61.5 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 86 to 45.
