SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Friday (March 24), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,126.93 in early trade, up 0.28 per cent, or 8.74 points.
Around 36.9 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 73 to 37.
