SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,766.66 in early trade, down 0.27 per cent, or 7.59 points.
Around 35.9 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 45 to 54.
