SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Tuesday (Aug 15), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,317.56 in early trade, up 0.27 per cent, or 8.87 points.
About 70 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 105 to 39.
