SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Wednesday (Sept 21), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,847.92 in early trade, down 0.24 per cent, or 6.77 points.
Around 144.4 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 70 to 59.
