SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Wednesday (March 22), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,158.57 in early trade, down 0.23 per cent, or 7.13 points.
Around 80.5 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 159 to 25.
