SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,344.8 in early trade, down 0.23 per cent, or 7.85 points.
Around 105.6 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 88 to 66.
