SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,324.90 in early trade, up 0.23 per cent, or 5.57 points.
Around 167.8 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 130 to 77.
