SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Tuesday (Feb 28), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,101.88 in early trade, down 0.22 per cent, or 6.74 points.
Around 274.2 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 97 to 79.
