SINGAPORE - Singapore shares open 0.21% lower on Friday (Sept 2), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,810.37 in early trade, down 0.21 per cent, or 6.1 points.
Around 55 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 56 to 54.
