Singapore shares open 0.20% higher on Thursday

SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Thursday (April 7), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,816.88 in early trade, up 0.20 per cent, or 5.63 points.

Around 140.2 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 114 to 31.
