SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Friday (March 31), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,179.53 in early trade, up 0.2 per cent, or 6.29 points.
Around 304.1 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 124 to 53.
